Really because I just love to do it.
In addition to the projects you’ve seen on my work page, I’ve got a handful of smaller endeavors I’ve created such as lamps, fireplace mantles, end tables, and more. I’ve built furnishings and fixtures for both residential and commercial use.
I’ve made everything from wine barrel cocktail tables, to chandeliers, to redwood slab gabion benches, to desk lamps and charcuterie boards! All custom designed, hand crafted, and created in the look and feel you’re hoping to achieve.
Most of my designs are “rustic” in nature, using a lot of natural woods, slabs, tins, etc. I’ve been particularly fortunate to have a Tunisian Window Guard source here locally, from which I create many different pieces, primarily chandeliers and wall art.
Although my background has been occupied with other artistic ventures and pursuits, theres an element of building that has really taken a hold of me and the more I do it, the more I want to. What was the impetus for my first real project?
Several years ago, I had the idea to build a chandelier that would hang over my wife and I during our wedding, which I spent the next month designing and building. Since then, all I want to do is create and build! I’ve been lucky enough to consign pieces that now live in peoples homes and function at their businesses, which makes me incredibly proud. My wedding chandelier hangs in our home today.
